American Horror Story Finale (Contains Spoilers!)

I got around to watching the first season finale of American Horror Story a few days ago and although it was a great end to a great first season, I wondered where the show can go from here.  Horror Story is the only show on TV where actors probably want to die, considering it means them becoming a ghost and allowing them to always be on the show.  At least I did think that until I read this article: http://www.tvline.com/2011/12/american-horror-story-season-2-spoilers/

Ryan Murphy (creator of AHS) basically says the show will have a new location and mostly all new characters.  Although the thought of this show without Tate and Constance is hard to imagine, I would be able to accept an all new concept.  Since the title is so vague, why not just create a whole new story line?  However, I have a problem with Murphy's idea of having some of the same actors, but them being a whole new character.  I think that this will be so confusing that it will make viewers frustrated enough to stop watching.  I hate it when they replace an actor for sequels, and this is like the opposite of that.

Murphy said that more information will be revealed about Season 2 coming in February, so hopefully they decide to abandon this idea of same actors, new characters.  Until February, Murphy said that you can guess the location of next year based on teasers in the past three episodes.  I am guessing Florida since they mentioned that multiple times because it is where Vivian's sister lives.
On a side note: the evil baby's name is Michael and he killed his babysitter.  Could they maybe be making a Michael Meyers reference?  I can only hope so.

No matter what direction the show decides to go in, it is still arguably the most original show on TV, and it is going to be a hard, long wait until September.
